Palmawatch invests in upgraded workshop facilities.

Being right inside the STP Shipyard at the North Dock Marine Services Building, Palmawatch are situated just a few metres from the 700 ton travel lift, and well positioned to give a comprehensive ‘on the spot’ service to their clients.

And just as importantly the in-house workshop facilities that support the skilled tradesman working for the Palmawatch team, are fully fitted out to meet all the on-site requirements for such a wide range of maintenance, engineering and haul out services.

In fact we are more ready than ever for detailed #marine engineering work, having invested in upgraded workshop facilities in preparation for a busy winter #refit season in 2016/17. The investment included all new machinery such as lathe, standing drill, cutting machine, pipe bender, etc… plus we have completely refurbished the workshop area.

Customised metal works are another specialist skill that Palmawatch have a competent in-house capability for. This includes marine grade stainless steel / aluminum welding, and fabrication of detailed components to specific dimensional drawings.

In fact our parts fabrication service covers not only metals, but can also extend to plastic, nylon and delrin for example. This means that we can custom manufacture worn replaceable parts, or even hard to source (obsolete) items, thus reducing costly delay times on system/equipment repairs.

Why not come and see us at the Palma Superyacht Show (stand RR14) in the Repair & Refit area from 28th April to 2nd May. Our workshops are just around the corner, and we’d be pleased to arrange an inspection visit.
