In 1953, the famous German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen built for a private American a very special vessel: Dolphin. Requested: classic looks, comfort and good cruising speed in 30m of steel. A&R completed the project with great success.

In 2002, the present owner, Mr Uwe Reppegather, falls in love with a Dolphin in need of a good refit. The vessel is brought to Palma de Mallorca and Peter Bräckel was appointed as project manager.

After 22 months in the yard, you can say that the result was worth the effort: Dolphin is better than new. Hereafter, you will find some pictures of most of the work done. For more information please contact Peter Bräckel.

And since then, and for 2 full seasons 2004-2005-2006, Dolphin has been happily cruising and chartering in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean seas….
